Nona Ellen Gilbert departed this world on the evening of October 19, 2022 in her home at 99.
She joins her husband, Eugene, of over 50 years and her three sons Wesley, David and Steven.
Nona is survived by her five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Nona was the definition of kindness and grace in our lives paired with a love of baseball and voracious sweet tooth.
We will miss her intense independence, gentle guidance and a potato salad that we could never duplicate.
A viewing at 10 AM-Noon at edline-yahn funeral home in Covington and a 2 PM graveside service at Greenwood Memorial will be in her honor .
