Alexsia Martha Haars was born in Humble, Texas on October 22, 2004 at 11:08 AM to parents Rhett Alexander Haars and Krysia Maria Haars. She left this world on August 22, 2020 in Covington, Washington at 11:32 PM in a tragic car accident.
Alexsia was sweet, beautiful with her braces smile, and full of life. She had a great sense of humor as many of her friends and family will say she was a goofball. She loved to dance and participated in many dance competitions, first with Dance Arts and then with Revolution Dance Factory. She had won many awards for her beautiful and graceful dancing. She loved music and loved doing all things a beautiful 15 year old would do, such as shopping and following the latest trends. She was a student at Tahoma High School in Maple Valley and had a lot of friends, embracing all with her enthusiasm and vibrancy.
She kept her parents up at night as a baby and loved to be carried in a backpack as a 2 year old sightseeing through Poland. She surfed in Hawaii, and she loved the sun and all the adventures of Kauai. She was interested in driving a boat and was looking forward to get a driver's license. She dreamed of seeing the world, working on a cruise ship before college, taking pictures in the Red Square of Moscow, and getting to make friends from other cultures.
Alexsia lived in Atascocita, Texas; Redwood City, California; and finally Maple Valley, Washington. She is survived by her parents, her older brother Jacob, all grandparents, and many uncles, aunts, close adopted family members, and cousins. She is missed by many who knew and loved her.
We know we speak for all of us who loved her so much when we say that we would give anything for the privilege of sharing more laughter, more arguments and more adventures with Alexsia, to see her beautiful smile and to keep sharing the life journey that has now been cut short in such a senseless way.
Faith and time we hope will bring us comfort and understanding that our heart and mind fail to find now. We ask that you keep our family in your prayers today and that you hold your loved ones closer because life truly is a precious a gift that can be taken in a blink of eye. Thank you everyone who has shown our family love and support during this time. We appreciate and love you all.
