Audie May (McBride) House

Audie May McBride was born in Ava, Missouri on May 11, 1927. She met her husband Howard W. House in late 1945 and married in Springfield, Missouri on April 13, 1946. They were married for 61 years until his death in 2008.

She was the proud mother to Ioma (Jeanie) House Benson and Kathryn (Kathy) House Stanley (who passed in 2010). She was the grandmother to James Stanley, Jennifer Benson, Keri Stanley, Jeffrey Benson (who passed in 2008), and Julie Miller. She was the great-grandmother to Steven Stanley-Guajardo, Heather Stanley, Kevin Stanley, Michaela Stanley-Guajardo, Samantha Stanley, Kassandra Stanley-Guajardo, Alisshia Stanley, Kaitlyn Miller, and Theodore (Teddy) Miller. She was the great-great grandmother to Aaliyah Guajardo.

Audie was surrounded by a loving family in her 91 years. She and her husband were avid hunters and belonged to many rock and gem clubs in their retirement. They also made custom jewelry in their home shop.

She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
